Friends of Wexford General Hospital is a charity that serves as a link between the people of Wexford and Wexford General Hospital. Our voluntary board works closely with the community to fundraise for projects that enhance the experience of patients and their families. We also consider requests from hospital staff for funding to help improve the level of care they provide. Every funding decision is made with great thought and care, ensuring donations are used wisely and make the greatest possible impact for those in the hospital’s care.
Over the years, we have proudly supported a wide range of projects, including the MRI Unit, a Transport Incubator & Ventilator, the construction of the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and Foetal Assessment Unit, the Oncology Day Care Unit, two new bronchoscopes, a new colonoscope, and much more. Each of these initiatives represents our commitment to making a meaningful difference for patients and their families.
